Surgery day set!

Excited about finding out my surgery date today, August 31,,,,,,,,,,Yea.
 Hope to post picture of myself and would love to chat with anyone who is waiting to have surgery, or if you have had it.
  What do I need to watch out for?
How will I feel?

well am very excited  too my surgery is august 17 2010, am a little nervous because of the protein, i dont want to fail god please give all my strngh......

Good luck on your surgery as well,,,,,,,,,,,,,I am nervous too because not sure what I am suppose to eat, etc.
I hear people eat different things,,,,,,I love FOOD but pray that Love will turn into something postive that I can make a difference in my life and others.
  My husband will support me, just not sure friends will.

I can b a pen pal too... I had my surgery 7/19/10  I feel great I had VSG...Friends arent friends if they dont support you by the way... I have lost 26 lbs so far that includes the pre op liquid diet tho... but so far I am losing a lb a day...yipppeeeee I am in San Diego and am looking for support of all types.. this website is amazing... so glad I found it... support all over the place.. I am looking for a local group next... and trying to figure out how to get out and excercise.. P.S. I love food too or I wouldnt be here I think..LOL

I would love to be pen pals.  My surgery is scheduled for November 15th.  I am still doing all of the doctor appts and getting ready.  I am having the DS.  I am starting now with the weight loss before the surgery.  I am trying to get myself ready by trying different protein bars and shakes to see what I like.  As far as the vitamins, my friend recommended www.vitalady.com.  She has so far the cheapest price for the vitamins.  I wish you lots of luck with your upcoming surgery.  Just think positive and follow what the doctors tell you to do.
