penpal wanted, Northern Cali

 Hi. I'm 31, single, no kids and on the road to getting the DS surgery. I'm looking for anyone who wants to chat about the ups and downs of the ride. I have Kaiser and just had my orientation yesterday in Fremont. I have my meeting with the surgeon/nutritionist/clinical coordinator next month where I'll be asking for the DS so I can go through the appeals process since Kaiser doesn't do it.

My name is Stephanie.  I am 36, married with a 10 year old daughter and 2 step sons age 16 and 17.  I live in Santa Rosa and i also have Kaiser.  I'm having the RNY on August 19th in South San Francisco.  I am delayed 6 weeks due to sleep apnea.  I have lost 20 pre-op pounds and have 10 to go.  My next steps are all pre-op stuff.  Metting with anesthesia, chest x-ray, final blood work, anoither meeting with surgeon. Hi there!  I had my RNY through Kaiser Fremont.. they are the best! No classes or anything like that..plus they are really nice.  I am 17 months post op.. but I live in West Sacramento and would love to chat :-)

Hey Im Meighen And I currently live in osuthern cal but am moving to Mountain view in dec or jan. Im 2 weeks and 5 days post op, Married with no kids am 27 y.o.  although im not in north cal right now i will be soon

I am with Kaiser as well and live in Galt. I am going through Richmond for my surgery and will be having the RNY. I have my case manager appt on 08/02/2010.
