  Well about me, I'm going to be 30 in October.  I would love to have a pen pale to start this process with.  I am a female just to let you know, I really need to get a picture of me up here.  Ill work on that tonight.  I just picked out my surgeon his name is Dr. Jawad from Ocala Florida.  I have just started my 6 month journey with my primary doctor.  I am so looking forward to this whole adventure.  Let me know if you are still looking for a pen pale.  I live in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida and work for Walt Disney World, and I have a 3 yr old little girl who is my life.  If you want to be pen pales or text buddies, I also have facebook.  Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Valerie, my name's Caitlin. I'm also having WLS this winter - I'm being told my date will be somewhere from late December to early January. I'm 20 years old, am planning on RNY surgery, and I live in Cleveland, Ohio. I'm just starting out too - I'm in my fourth month of my six month pre-approval, I'm meeting my surgeon next month and then it'll be off to the races! I've got little more than ten more pounds to lose yet, and I'm trying to get them off with everything I've got!

Hello All,

I am also in the process of a work up for gastric bypass surgery.  I have one more dietician group and should then be referred to the surgeon who I must see prior to my insurance being filed for the procedure.  I am thinking I will have surgery late this year.  I have lost my required 5% and am working out regularly.  I am 38 years old and live in NC.  I feel ready for this journey but would love to have some buddies along the way.  I would love it if we could help one another.
