Looking for a friend-someone to go through this with!

I'm Tonya, from Cincinnati. I have just paid my program fee to start the program. I will have RNY somewhere near the end of may/early June.
I'd like someone who is just starting too, we could take the journey together, share our fears and vicotories. I'm more than afraid, but to afraid not to have this done. I work full time, and am finishing a Bachelor's program in a few weeks. So I'll have more time to be on the computer soon!
My BFF just had the surgery/same Dr. same hospital (the one I work at!) She has lost 46lbs since Mid November. I can't wait to be thin!

How are you doing after your surgery?  I hope all is going well for you.  I meet the surgeon tomorrow to discuss what type of surgery and then hopefully on to the insurance approval.

I'm going tomorrow to meet with the surgeon and pay my fee also.  I'm not sure which surgery I will have but I think it will have to be the lap band (not my first choice).  I'm looking forward to taking this journey with you and wish you all the very best.

I go back to see the dietian on April 6th, that is my last visit. They will then submit to insurance. My life is so busy right now, I'm writing the biggest paper of my life- I will graduate with a Bachelor's degree May 8th. I'm amazed that I've had time to go through the three month weight loss and school/work/kids/life at the same time. It has to be done, I'm getting enormous, sad to say.
