well for psych eval, i went to an independent psychologist because i was cash pay and it was cheaper. the dr. worked with one out of his office. he went over the different feelings i may have, how to cope with those feelings, and why was i doing the surgery. it was pretty simple. i feel that everyone has some issues, mostly caused by the weight. don't worry about it too much. you'll do fine. now for the steps to take after the seminar, every dr. is different, but it went fast for me because of being cash pay. i did my paper work, made the appt. for the psych eval, then scheduled my surgery date. if you have ins, that will be paying then it will take a little longer. usually about 6 months. your dr. will let you know what steps to follow. and to let you know my pre-op weight was 262, so everything will be just fine for you. let me know how everything goes at the seminar.
