Pen Pal in the same boat?

I am just starting this journey.  I haven't gotten my surgery yet.  I just got my approved by my surgeon to have my gastric bypass surgery!  I would love to find someone who is just starting their journey as well to chat with to help keep us motivated!!  If you are interested let me know!!

I wish you the best of luck on your new journey. I just got approved myself..my surgry date is Jan. 18th  (Mon) I am excited and a litte scared at the same time but ready for a new and exciting life. You will do awesome, just believe in yourself and listen to what your surgeon says. TO A NEW YEAR AND A NEW BEGINNING!!!!

I havent had my surgery yet. I probally wont have it till after march. Im so looking forward to finding th smaller person inside of me. I know that shes in there. lol. I have three more mths to be weighed in and the have my mental health eval.

Hello Dee! I live in Wilson, NC and going thru the pre-approval process. I have 2 visits left for the diet/exercise part and have encountered some problems that need to be addressed. I was surprised at how many tests and dr visits you needed prior to surgery. I am grateful for that .. or I would have known about some of my issues. So far all is doing good and I am keeping up with it all .. I am so excited for you! A new adventure in life that I have been dreaming for .. I have taken those ?'s and answer tests that tell you your actual age and I am 67 health wise and 55 in reality. Definite wake up call. I am somewhat familiar with Norfolk. My daughter lived in VA Beach and I visited her often. She has now moved to San Diego (Navy). Saw your name and Norfolk and thought I would give you a great big CHEER for you!
