Hi,
My name is Rebekah, I'm a 27 yr ,wife, and mother of 2 young beautiful child, I live in Colorado. I'm scheduled to have surgery in January. I'm looking to chat with others who have had RYN or are going to have surgery.

I was reading your story on your profile. I also have the same problem as you do. I know to much! I'm a registered nurse and have spent multiple time in the OR and have taken care of many patients out of the OR. I know all of the possible outcomes.
have you started your pre op diet?

My name is Lynn, I am 41 cheeze am I that old, I guess time flies when your having fun! I have 2 kids : 1- girl who is 8 and 1 boy who is 7. My daughter is a Leukemia patient @ Roswell Park in Buffalo, NY. She was diagnosed 2 years ago and is still on a chemo, spinal tap, iv regimen until March 2010. I am glad she has made it.....I get my strength from my kids and this whole ordeal. You view things differently.

Well - I am having RNY -Laparoscopic on Jan. 14th with hopes that everything turns out ok. I hope things go well for you too!
