Anyone with type 1 diabetes

 I would love to talk to someone who has type 1 diabetes

I have been a type 1 diabetic for 44 yrs. I had lap-ban surgery in Oct. 08.  I have lost nearly 70lbs and need to lose 10-15 more, but if I don't it's ok. I take way less insulin now and only 1 sm amount of blood preassure med. I do seem to have alot of low blood sugers but I'm working with the doc to try and correct this. I do feel alot better and have alot more energy. Please let me know about you.

What do you do regarding your low blood sugars? I know with the RY bypass, you can't eat straight sugar and I am worried about having lows that are hard to treat.
