Hey suzanne.. I just had my surgery on Monday the 21st and though i know you said you were looking for someone who had the surgery around the same time as you.. I would love to chat with you and be able to share stories and experiences.. Especially since you a little ahead of me and will get to experience things before i do.. I hope to hear from you and would love to chat..

I was a size 24 and now Im at 169lbs ~ 171lbs. a size 10 and feel great! You made a good choice going with the VSG!

I weighed 223 on my surgery date and the process is going a little slower for me.. but it is coming off so im happy.. ( Maybe im just impatient lol) .

Hi Suzanne and Alley,
I would love to become friends with both of you. I had my surgery on June 2nd and am down 84 lbs. My only impatience is that two weeks in a row i ate the wrong things and gained a lb each week instead of losing. I did get back on track and consider it a lesson learned but still frustrating.
Hope to talk to you soon

count me in Christina... new friends are never a bad thing.. =)
84 lbs is fantastic.. I would only hope to be as successful as you have been on dropping the lbs. As far as eating wrong things.. im sure everyone goes through it..the important thing is that you're getting back on track, right? At first i felt no hunger and didnt have many cravings but now my head hunger has kicked in and im starting to miss the things that i enjoyed eating before. Im sure it will pass once i can see a change.
Hope you are both having a fantastic hump day!

Hi all I am brand new to this forum thing. I am scheduled to have my surgery on November 4 and I am excited, yet nervous about how I will do. I am strong, but I hear about that head hunger and I wonder how strong it is. Sounds to me loosing enough weight for my pants to fall down would be a motivator. I look forward to using this site as a support system outside the one I have locally.
Keep in Touch.
