Pen Pal, I'm from the Seattle Area
Its funny that I would get 2 Oregon girls to respond, since I am in Oregon girl just in Seattle for my hubby's job. In fact,. Carol, my parents live in North Bend. I miss Oregon, but if we hadn't come to Washington, I would have never got to have my surgery. Anyway, would love to keep up communication. Do you guys have a facebook? That is where I am on mostly.

Looks like you are using Dr. Srikanth also. He's an amazing surgeon. Today was a bad day for me, but in general, things are imprving everyday. I am down 50 lbs from my initial consult. I am still getting weak, and tired, but I am so glad that I did this. I see you are in Renton. I am in Duvall. Are you having your surgery in Federal way? Anyway talk to you later,
Jenn

Hi! I am an Oregon girl living in Minnesota...I miss it there sooooo much, I can't begin to tell you. I am 6 weeks P/O, so a relative newbie, too.
It would be very cool to chat with anyone of you gals from Oregon or Washington!

I consider myself an honorary Oregonian because even though I was born and raised in Minnesota (a fact I hide, because Oregon is my REAL home), we would take the Amtrak out there all the time to visit my uncle, aunt, and cousins.
When I lived in Oregon, I lived in Portland. We lived in the Outer Southeast area, near Clackamas. Every year, a women's group I belonged to went to the coast for writing retreats...there are so many things I miss about it there, but the coast is without a doubt one of the biggest. Oh, that and Tillamook cheese. *lol*
