looking for support/friend in Louisiana

I am in Violet, that is south of New Orleans. I am having the VSG done by Dr. Alvarez in Mexico on October 13, 2009. I am also looking for friends or support group for the VSG. I was going to have it done in Louisiana but it was too expensive, and the doctors in Mexico have so much more experience because they have been doing it longer and it's alot cheaper too. I am a little nervous but excited at the same time. So how are you doing since your surgery. Please fill me in with the post-op diet and the pain and how long the pain lasted and stuff.
