Hello,

I am originally from Wisconsin, 25 years ago.  I live in Houston, TX now.  I would like to correspond with you.  I had surgery back in January of 06 - VGB.  Well I started gaining my weight back after about a year and a half.  Come to find out it was a failed surgery, the type of surgery I had was older and it failed.  I had revision surgery two and a half months ago - got the sleeve now.  I am losing weight real slow right now, the doctor told me that it is harder to lose weight the second time around.  At 6 weeks out I was down 20 pounds, does not sound like much but to me it was great.  I am feeling so much better even after losing 20 pounds.

Even though I did not have lapband surgery I can still give you some good tips.

If you would like to correspond send me an e-mail to my personal e-mail @ [email protected].

Cool! I know the feeling.  I'm in Milwaukee, and I'm going to have RNY on 10/05.  I won't bite if you won't bite

Hello,

I am from Milwaukee also, I just started my journey on this long road ahead of me, I am just waiting for my ins. stuff in the mail so I can go ahead and look for a surgeon, I believe I have one in mind, My sis also had the surgery (RNY) about 5 yr's back and I thought about trying to see him for sure.. and go from there, I really don't know how to start this so I am hoping that I am doing this right... I know I am a good candidate cause My doc. say's so, I have type II diabeties, and sleep apnea and other stuff.. I am scared in only a few way's..for if I am approved of this surgery, The anestesia, and the pain meds afterwards, I get anxiety and panic attack's when I feel like I am on cloud 9 sort of speak, I can not feel like I am all dopey... so I am hoping they can give me something to knock me out before they decide to give me anything....that is my only concern.,. I really want to get my life back on track and I know that this surgery will do this for me, I have been trying to get this now for about 7yr's, and it was alway's exclusioned in my plan, now I have been accepted through badger care plus, I so am hoping I have a last try and get success... I am looking forward from hearing from you..

Thank's,,
