Lost in Translation! (CA)

Looking for someone who can give insight to all of this, ive been a member for over a year now...signed up then lost hope now i'm still unsure on actually getting any procedure...scared crapless! Would love to chat about your journey and hopefully decide mine! Anyone would be helpful THANKS!

Hello there,
I am in San Diego CA. I am hoping to have surgery by the 1st of the year. I will be self paying so I am trying to save money to do so. I have thought about this procedure for quite a while now and know for sure that I want it. I am scared crapless too, but when I look in the mirror and see how much weight I have to lose and how much more I could gain, that scares me even more. I want to enjoy my life. I am 38 years old with a 5 year old son. I want to be around for him. I should have done this years ago and regret the fact that I didn't pursue it further.

This is where I stand on my surgery issue.
