Ok, Surgery is coming up in 4 weeks and I am getting nervous, looking for someone in a similar boat. I am in the Indianapolis area.

Indy, I am supposed to be scheduled for RNY as well in July...waiting on a date and final approval. I am not in Indianapolis but would like to try keeping in touch as we both do this.  I'm nervous but really excited...how are you doing?

I have my pre-op diet counseling on Thursday and my main pre-op next monday, with 3 weeks to surgery I am really getting excited and nervous.

The main thing I am nervous about is the 2-3 days right after surgery. I know everyone makes it through it but I am a dreading it.

I am so nervous about those first few days too!   Not sure how bad it will be.  And not sure how it will be coming home.  Still, I am really excited!

Since you will be going first, let me know OK?  I'll be saying a prayer for ya:-)

Well the great thing is that the first week I spent on some great drugs and then I felt pretty good. I am down 30 pounds and for me it was a breeze.

Thanks for chatting when I needed it, so how are you doing? Looks like your date is coming soon.

Good luck and it was not near as bad as I though it would be.
