If anyone gets lonely please send me a pm. I am the most lonely person in the world. I live close to Charlotte North Carolina. I am almost 4 years out. I have lots of health issues so I am home lots. My children are grown and own their own now. I got the empty nest thing going on. lol...for real....

I am 42, living in So. California, feeling quite lonely in this process. I also feel undecided about doing the lapband surgery:  I definitely would be a candidate at 5'5" and 241 lbs...I am 100 lbs. overweight, which gives me a BMI of 40. I feel out of control.  No matter what I do I cannot seem to lose the weight.  Just eating normally, I gain weight.  The only way I could ever lose is by eating very little or by starving, which is not realistic or possible.  The former IS possible, by surgery, I believe, but I still have my doubts.  May I ask you about your experience? How are you doing now? What health issues do you have? Hopefully we can stay in touch...looking forward to hear from you.
