Looking for a pen pal to share their weight loss surgery experiences

Hi! My name is Sherry and I am  44 years old and i am looking  for a pen pal to share their weight loss surgery experiences with me as I am very much considering gastric bypass surgery. I am 275 lbs  5'2 inches tall and my BMI is 50.3. I am very very much concerned about my health. I have asthma, osteoarthritis, degenerative disc disease (I had neck  surgery several years ago to remove a herniated cervical disc in which i have a titanium plate screwed in my neck), high cholesterol and sciatica. Currently I am studying for my Associates Degree to become a Paralegal and its going to take me two years to complete my degree. I want so very very much to regain my life back again and be able to enjoy it and look good  when I get my degree and pass my Legal Assistants examination and look for a job.  I really could use  some  support in my decision making process because i do understand  this is major surgery and a life altering change at that. and I admit  I am scared.  Thanks.

I think we are all scared.  I am just starting out on my journey toward getting WLS.  I spent a long time worrying about what other people would think about it being the easy way out.  I think it's crazy people make fun of you because your fat then make fun of you because you try to lose weight.  I'm doing this for me and have come to the conclusion that the risks of surgery are worth it.  From the research I've done most people with your problems have found that they tend to ease up or go away completely.  I love meeting new people and would love to be your email pen pal if you so wish.  I am also going to school (i'm 33) to get my degree in Sociology.  I'd like to work with people who struggle with obesity one day.  I look foward to hearing from you.  My email is [email protected].

i will be anyone penpal,  I  had RNY ON 11- 4, 2008,  I WAS SCARED AT BEGGINING TOO, BUT I DIDNT HAVE ANYONE THERE, BUT I heard alot stories about surgery, i just talked to surgen and dr there,  tHEY EXPLAINED IT TO ME,
