HI ALL. I HAD THE TOGA ON APRIL 16TH AND I'VE LOST ABOUT 17LBS. I LIVE IN COLUMBIA,MO. I FEEL THIS WAS THE BEST THING I HAVE DONE. THE PEOPLE THAT DID THE SURGERY IS JUST GREAT. THEY ARE VERY NICE TO TALK TO AND THEY UNDERSTAND HOW YOU FEEL.  IT'S NICE TO SEE I CAN TALK TO OTHERS THAT HAD IT DONE TO.

I  had the TOGA on Jan6 of this year. I have to admit i havent been eating like i should. i have gained a lil weight but not much. not sure if i had the procedure or not but it seems like it because i get sick after eating certain foods but it can be a mental thing lol.

My life is like McDonalds....I'm Lovin It

I had the procedure on March 30.  Like others, I'm still not sure if I had it.  I do know that I miss chewing my food, and will be glad to start on soft foods this week.  Hope to hear and learn from others who have been/are going through the TOGA experience.

I had my surgery on April 8th, and was wondering if anyone had any good recipes or a site for good recipes. I think the hardest part of this whole thing is going to be the 2 weeks on the pureed foods.........My biggest problem has been the back pain that I have experienced and the heavy feeling in my chest. I do think it would  be great to know if you had it or not, but this way it kinda forces you to do the right thing and eat smaller portions.

Hello!!
How are you doing since surgery?
I had my surgery done in November with Dr. Khaitan.  I was #2, and was told that I was going to receive the procedure.  I am doing well and have had a small set back due to thyroid problems, but am hoping once things get back on track the weight loss will kick back up to the speed it had been before.
Hope you are feeling well.

Hi,

My name is Kelly and I had the TOGA on 5/21/09 and I have lost 23 lbs.  I am thinking that I had it done, if I eat just what I call a small amount of food I am full.  I am worried though about busting staples is that a normal feeling?  How long has it taken everyone to start eating solids versus their softer foods?

 Hello everyone!

Last year on March 31, 2009 I had my TOGa surgery.  I found out this week that I was in the sham group! I have lost 50lbs so far, and will be getting my date for the actual procedure here soon.

I can't wait!  What a year this has been!!
