My six months is up on the 20th of this month.

I am having such a hard time with all this.
I really need somene to talk to who is or has gone through this.

Hello,
Keep on trying.  Talk to your doctor, if we could do this on our own we would not be asking for help.  Please keep a positive attitude think of how far you have come instead of what is left.  I am having my RNY tomorrow morning a lot of the different things that are posted did not apply to me.  In some cases it was a blessing in others it made me ask questions.  Remember each person is different and everyone has their own goal.  Keep your chin up and remember your a great person.

Hey-  have you logged everything you have tried when trying to lose this weight in the past 6 months?  If not you should so you can bring it in with you at your appointment.  One of the reason why I ask, is because if you have honestly tried and you have it documented, that could work in your favor.  I know that I had to document ever diet and exercise program I tried prior to my surgery so that way my insurance company could see that I couldn't lose it on my own.  Sometimes the doctor can't do the surgery if they feel that your life will be at risk due to the high weight.  He/she might wanted to see if you could lose it on your own first as it is a major and perment surgery.  Did you ask them what would happen if you didn't lose the weight?  If I were you and totally stressing about it, then I would call your doctor and see what will happen if you didn't lose the full 23lbs.

But if you need someone to talk to I am here for you.  I felt all alone before my surgery and didn't have anyone really to talk about it prior to my surgery.  I mean I had my friends and family and my boyfriend, but no one that just went through it.  I know what you are going through as it was only 3 months ago that I had my surgery.  So let me know if you need any questions aswered or if you are freaking out and need someone to talk to.

Thank you so much for answering me.
No, I will be honest I didn't follow it all to the T, but I did try.
No, I haven't asked the question if I didn't lose, but maybe I should.
Oh I'm so nervous about the whole thing.
I'm having a hard time with finding out alot of things as well.
I heard that this site was very informative but I am having such a hard time with it.I can't find anything.
Would it be possible for you to email me at home, so if I need questions answered I can email you at home as well.
I know some people don't like that but I feel it may help.

You can reach me at home at [email protected]

I hope to hear from you soon, I do have alot of questions I would like to ask
