Good luck with your journey.  Have you met the surgeon yet?.  I'm still really really new in this process but if I can be of any help, please let me know.  I don't have much knowledge yet but I sure do plan to continue to become more educated and wiser by listening to some of the people aroound the board who have already been down this road

havent done much just looked for a hosp closest to me so far. to be honest i dont even kno which surgery i want anymore. I had my  mind set on gastric bypass but whiling looking through the forums i see alot of different kinds pop up so im trying learn about them all

You are right, there really is such a lot to think about and consider.  But I think you are being very smart to check them all out and find the one that is right for you and your lifestyle.  Look at the pros and cons of each one and figure out what you can live with and/or without

only thing i know for certain is that i dont  want one that needs to be adjusted, i want it to be done and over with so lapband is no option for me

I hear ya!  I'm gonna have RNY.  I have several friends who have had it and seem to be doing well.  But no matter what I know that I still have a lot of work ahead of me.  Not ever going to be easy not even after the surgery!

i was just reading about that. i like it.
i take care of my nephew and hes one so by the time i get the surgery half my exercise would be chasing his butt around lol my main thing is the food cuz money tight and we buy cheap but im gonna stick to it its a last option for me

I remember when my daughter was one, I was exhausted by bedtime.  Keep reading I know you will find the surgery that is right for you!

i have long days up at 6:30 bed by 11pm-12am its  a killer lol
