NYC area penpals + friends

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a penpal in the NYC area who would also be up for hanging out in the city sometime.  I have great friends who lend their verbal support, but nobody really understands the struggle of being morbidly obese; the stigma, emotional issues, etc.  Would be great to have a pal to chat with and spend time with here and there.  Any takers??

 I don't live in NY, but we have the same surgeon (Roslin right?).  When I go back up there in the future, it would be great to hang out sometime.

I dont live in NYC but I love it there. I am from Arkansas . I went NYC about 2 years ago and I absolutly love it. Going back in June of this year. I am taking my mom, 19 yr old daughter and a few other friends. I have surgery on March 25th in Little Rock. So maybe my June I will be filling pretty good and ready to walk alot.  Do you live in Manhattan?  I would love to talk learn more about you and your city. LOL Well have a great day.

I live right across the river in NJ I can see NYC from where I live.. Most of my friends are of normal weight or are married to men who accept them as is, so they have no desire to change. No one really understands my struggles of feelings. Not they not supportive, they just aren't in the same state of mind as I am.
I had the Lap Band done and am not doing as well as I should be (100% blame on my part) so I'd love to speak to someone who shares my thoughts...
