Hello all had my surgery on 12-09-08 and would really like to have a penpal to talk about my experiences I am a talker and bet bored really fast talk to my wife but she is usually so busy she can only talk awhile anyone ??? drop me a line.

I would be happy to be your penpal!  I know what you mean, my husband just started a new job and even though he has been supportive and tries to understand what we are going through, he really doesn't grasp everything!  I am scheduled to have my RNY-Lap on 01/21/09 and I am soooo ready to get it over with!  I have been on liquids for the past week and it has been really hard!!!  Especially this weekend, we used to go out to eat almost every weekend for just about every meal, and now I can't.  It just feels a little weird, you know?  I guess it's cause I know they really want to go but won't because of me.  Anyhoo~ feel free to drop a line anytime.  One more thing, did you by chance go homoe with a small pain pump?  TTYL

Well thank-you so lets ne PALS.. The liquid diet was so hard for me but lost 17 pounds which was good for my liver gain it back after surgery cause of all the liquid they pumped into me.  We were the same at least 2 or 3 times a week.  She is trying but like you said does not really understand.  No I idid not come home with a pump liquid tylonel and oxy, did not really have a lot of pain anyway thanks for being a pal drop me a PM anytime..
