I had Gastric Bypass in August '04.  It has been a long up & down road since then.  It would be nice to have a friend & pen pal to walk through this coninuing life changing journey.

I can also be reached via email at [email protected]

Looking forward to hearing from you & about your journey as well.

Maybe we can help each other along the way.

Thanks,

April

I had my GBS in June of 2005.  I lost 107lbs and got pregnant in 2006. I never reached my goal and I have "so to speak, fell off the weight wagon".  If you are still looking for a pal I would be more than happy to talk to you.  I am very eager to get back on the right track, there's just alot of obstacles in my way now with my living situation.

Hope to hear back from you soon.

Thank you for sharing your struggles.  Congrats on the pregnancy!  Boy or Girl?

I have also feel off the weight wagon.  I weighed 360 lbs, then got down to 170 lbs.  However after a rough relationship last fall & unexpected medical conditions, I have gained weight & now weigh 240 lbs.  UUGGHH!!!   Very Frustrating!

I am starting again though!  I can't let this thing beat me.  I am working hard to regain my food independence.  I allowed myself to pick up those nasty emotional eating habbits.  With prayer, hard work, & friends to encourage along the way... I know it will be possible to obtain once again.

I would diffinitely enjoy having you as a "Weight Wagon" partner!  lol   Let me know what I can do to encourage you as well.  I am a good listener & encourager.

I don't always have the opportunity to log into Obseity Help as I work two jobs & getting geared up for school.  But I do ck it at least once a week.  I do check my personal email every day though.  My personal email is [email protected].

I am looking forward to us being Weight Loss Buddies!

Hello, I had my GBS in 2003.  I lost 100 lbs and I guess my pea brain thought that it would a piece of cake (pardon the pun) going forward.  Guess what - it isn't.  It is a struggle every day.   Hellooooo?!?
It's a constant chain of choices.  I wish I could make better choices more often.

Thank you so much for replying to my request for a pen pal.  Yes, you are right, every day is a struggle to make good choices.  I would love to keep in correspondence.  My personal email is [email protected].   I don't always have the opportunity to log into Obesity Help as I work two jobs & getting geared up to go to school.

I would love to hear more about your struggles & obstacles that you have overcomed.   For me, it has been continuing to make right choices in eating.  As I have been known to pick up some of my bad habbits of emotional eating.  UUGGHH!!!

I started out at 360 lbs, got down to 170 lbs, but now after going through a rough relationship last fall.... I know weigh 240 lbs.  Very frustrating!

I would love the opportunity to talk some more.  Feel free to email me & yes, I will check for posts on my acct at least once a week.  I just get into my hotmail acct on a daily basis.

Blessing to you in your endeavor to continue on your journey.  Let me know what I can do to asssist you in that endeavor.  I am a good listener & encourager.  Just hearing from you made my day!
