Looking for my new pals- I am 6 months post op RNY- Lets make 2009 the best year ever!!!

I am looking for some pals to keep in touch with and be support for each other.

I had RNY in June 08 and have lost almost 110lbs since my presurgery weight- I have been really sick with a lot of complications and so glad they are behind me.

I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada and have no local support group or monthly meetings so I am looking for support. My surgery was done in Montreal out of province so I am limited on support from the clinic and local groups.

Now that I am feeling better I want to start a regular exercise program and need motivation in that- would also like to swap recipes and food ideas as I am not much of a cook so I tend to stick to the same things.........

I am 41, am married and have a pre-teen daughter. I am a stay at home mom.

I really hope to meet some people and start the new year off very motivated to go the rest of the way!
