Hey! I am looking for a PenPal in the New England area. I am hoping to have RNY in Feb 09. I I have had my first appointment with Dr. Yehia at Metrowest Medical Center in Natick and have scheduled all my other first appointments. I am very excited and know that I am ready for surgery.
I live in MA and am single and 32. I work for a non-profit. I would be willing to e-mail or snail mail. I will be able to Im on Yahoo hopefully by March of next year.

Hi Gayle, That would be great! I know where Leicester is. Not all that far from me. That is great that you had your surgery. I can't wait to be able to finally get a date for mine. I have met with the doctor and the nut. I still have to meet with the therapist in January. I hope everything goes smoothly.

Since having the surgery I've lost almost 30lbs. the first two weeks I thought were the hardest. I'm doing ok, I haven't gone back to work yet. Jan %th will be my first day back. I am very happy that I had the sugery, I'm no longer a diabetic YIPPEE!!! do you live in the Boston area?

Congrats! It sounds like you are doing well. I also think that the first two weeks will be the hardest for me. Recovering and it will be the first time I will not be able to eat. I am not a fan of Protein shakes but the Nut said I could have no sugar added Carnation Instant Breakfast. She also gave me some samples I can try. What do you use?
Enjoy your time off. You will probably get back to a busy work schedule and wish you could have had another week. What do you do?
I am in Ashland which is next to Framingham. Not too far from the Mass Pike, Rt 9 and Rt 495. I work in Framingham. It is not far from my house though it takes me a while in the morning because of Traffic.
I don't see the doctor again till the 30th. I go to the Pulmanary Department on Monday for whatever testing they have to do. Then the mental dr on the 6th of Jan. I hope I can get my date shortly after that so I can start making plans.
I am so looking forward and hoping that I will not be diabetic anymore. That is my reason fo doing this even before the weight loss. Even if I am still diabetic, my weight will be less so my diabetes will be better anyways. My mom died at 34 when she went into a diabetic coma because she did not take care of her diabetes. She was not obese but had some extra weight. I am 32 so I am happy to be doing this to greatly change the outcome of my life.

Happy Holidays! I am a child care worker at a residental program for children who have behavioral issues. I'm their "house mom" of 8 boys ages 5 yrs - 13yrs. We actually had their big christmas party in which I was able to attend. they recieved all their gifts that I have bought them , and plus 90 % of the donated gifts. They do recieve two gifts on Christmas morning. I love my job , and the children keeps me in laughter most of the time. They do have lots of anger due to their parents who had abused them. do you have a myspace or facebook account? or a yahoo messagner or Aol .. so that maybe we could chat ...
