In serious need of a pen pal!!!
I am in need of a pen pal. I had surgery last October 31st and have lost 120 lbs but recently I am wanting to eat and I'm not hungry. Before surgery I was a graze eater, not really eating meals just grazing through the day and now I find myself repeating that habit. It's gotten very hard for me. I haven't been to a support group yet and plan on going this week. I would just like to know how others are doing and if you started out close to my beginning weight of 374 lbs how you are doing. I know we shouldn't compare numbers because we are all different but I am just at that point that I'm scared I'm behind or not losing like I should. I went the entire month of December without losing a pound and my doctor said it's not uncommon to hit a plateau so early but I was devastated. My doctors...I've had 2, say I should end up between 170 and 225 pounds...does this sound right? I'd appreciate any and all responses, I could seriously use a good "pal" right now. Thanks and God bless.
Hi There,
My name is Tracy and I had the surgery in march 2008.I've lost about 105 lbs,but now it's slowing down and I'm getting frustrated that I won't lose any more weight.I was bigger than most people that had it done in my support groups so there almost at goal. I'm still proud of myself,I need some one to check in with and discuss my food plans.Write back to me Tracy
