I need a Penpal! I want Lap-Band, but my family isn't supportive

HI... I am new to Warner Robins :)  I had my surgery 2 yrs ago.
Just wanted to let you know I am here if you need someone to talk to about it :)
I kinda went through mine alone somewhat as well.....

It's so nice to know there's someone in the same town as me who has gone through this. I know I'm not the only one, but when I talk to people it seems like they have such supportive family around them....makes me jealous and sick at the same time, LOL.

I'm in such a better place now, I didn't get the lap-band (yet), but I did get in touch with a doctor to help with the eating disorder and so far things are looking good. I've done a lot of work since October and it seems to be paying off! I'm down almost 25lbs. so fingers crossed it'll stick this time.
How did your get through the tough spots alone?
