Louisiana pen pal

Hey there, from Louisiana here, the Laffy area!  I'm about to enter my journey with WLS on Sept 23!!!  Only 15 days left!  I'm so excited...I'd love to be able to develop a friendship through a pen-pal.  I think that's so great, I've never had a "pen-pal" before.  It would be great to share my journey with someone else, who's been where I am or who's going to be where I am!  I believe pen-pals would be a great system of support, and anyone going through WLS should never reject any forms of support!

If you'd enjoy writing to a penpal in Ottawa, Canada, I'd love to correspond with you.    You're right abotu support being important.  I post on the Ontario, Canada forum, as well as the lightweight forum, but having a penpal to share the journey with would be great as well.

I am scheduled to have my consult with my surgeon in Utica, NY on October 14 when I'll hopefully get my date for my RNY.

Hi there, I am from louisiana also but I currently live in oklahoma. I had VSG surgery on June 23 of this year and to date I am down 54 pounds. I encourage you to come to the oklahoma forum. There is a huge response for support. The only regret about this surgery is that Ididn't have it sooner. feel free to add me as a friend or message me anytime.
