Hello there!
My name is Dawn and I'm 2 years plus post op from rny surgery. Would love to help others and discuss the process, answer questions and just chat whether you are pre-op or post-op. I am 38 years old and a Kindergarten teacher. I have no children other than the ones I teach.
I am looking for a couple of snail mail friends or email friends around my age with some similar interests. If you do snail mail, I'm extremely chatty and can write VERY long letters and would prefer others that do the same. If you prefer email, you'll need to know that I can be very slow in answering emails so if you are looking for an ASAP emailer, I'm not the one for you!
I don't mind answering questions though from those who just need questions answered or want a buddy just to chat quickly about wls.
Some of my interests: WLS of course (I run our local support group), pop/rock and 80s music, my 2 dogs, cat and rabbit, educational issues, television (Hell's Kitchen,Apprentice, Survivor, HGTV.ca, Judge Judy, Ramsay, etc), summer, walking, reading (current magazine addictions!), swimming, coffee, silver jewellery, Happy Bunny, family and friends, OH (I'm in the current issue I hear! LOL!), Guess?, comedy, traveling, and more.

HI Dawn, I am almost 6 weeks post-op with a lot of questions that my yahoo support group has not answered. I think you are the angel I am looking for. I am 40, live in TN, work at a preschool, and LOVE to talk, sometimes too much. :-) I can do email or snail mail. I am married to a real cutie and have 2 sweet children.
