Snail Mail Friend Wanted

I am seeking a penpal, preferrably snail mail but open to email **(see below), who is interested in chatting about life with a pouch AND has some common interests. I had my surgery just over 1 1/2 years out, so life is pretty normal now and I'm in the maintaining phase. I would be interested in chatting with someone who is going through the process of getting WLS (I don't mind being a mentor of sorts) and wants questions answered or opinions on wls, or someone who is in maintenance and just wants to talk about life after WLS. I'm looking for someone chatty, around my age with common interests and has a life outside of the home. **If you are writing through snail mail, please be aware that I am NOT a frequent email penpal. I will not answer your posts asap as I have other things that take priority over email. ** For that reason, I tend to prefer snail mail. As for those common interests, I am 37 years old, female and living in Canada. I am a Kindergarten teacher whose life revolves around my job. I've been married for over 5 years and enjoy working with children but not having them at home. I have four furry animals that are enough currently for my maternal instinct. Interests include: fitness, television (HGTV, real estate shows, Biggest Loser, Apprentice, Survivor, the Judge shows, the news, documentary type shows), LUSH, scented candles, Happy bunny, variety of music (from Beatles to Gwen Stefani), my computer, webpage design, journaling, dollar stores, pro figure skating, reading, my magazine addiction, non fiction and true crime, my treadmill, everything British, useless trivia, coffee, shopping, ebay, jewelery, celebrity gossip, swimming, summer, rabbits, dogs and cats, ice cream, and more. Looking for chatty friends around my age with common interests. Sorry but I have a hard time committing my free time who anyone who cannot tell me more than a sentence about themselves. Oh I tend to write quite long letters as I have been into penpalling since my teen years so I prefer someone who is open and chatty like me! Thanks, Dawn

I am moving abroad and would be very interested in a pen pal back in the states. I love getting mail which is odd for most people but i also love to write. I find that it much more personal and enjoyable to get a letter from a friend by snail mail then a quick email. You totally got my attention with the Happy Bunny. I am so in love with that character it is crazy. Anyway I will send you my address and we can go from there if you are itnerested.
