Hi everyone,  I live in NW Alabama, 12 miles from MS line....I'm 6 hrs away from the Gulf of Mexico, either Panama City Beach, FL or Orange Beach/Gulf Shores, AL...I am a Beach Bum and go 3 x per year.  I have a 12 year old son who was born 10 wks premature weighing 2 lbs   12 oz   15 inches long, we have come a long way, Monday he gets braces, I am nervous for him but hope all goes well..I have a Shih Tzu Clemson who is the best dog and of course my husband which we met 2 yrs ago this coming Thurs, he was a God send to me...He has 2 lovely children a girl 10 and a son 7, they are precious children.  I enjoy reading the boards they have been very helpful to me during my journey, I have lost 70 pds, most days it feel I never even had surgery, I eat right and have an occasional bite of something sweet, I do Not Dump and that makes me mad but ....... Glad you started this board and Look Forward to meeting new friends.  Feel free to ask me anything, I love to Talk....

Love the beach(live near it) have1 husband, 3 children, 2 grandsons and 2 doggies. chirldren are all grown so the doggies are our babies now. My number one support person is my husband. Hi all,  My name is Iris and I am from Alabama. I had my durgery 4 years ago and am maintsining 10 pounds below my goal.  I am married to my wonderful husband for 18 years. Together we have 3 sons, SweetMan, 25, HungryBoy,17, and BirdMan, 12. Of course those are not their given names. My oldest is a sous chef at a privately owned restaraunt where we live, the 17 year old is a junior at a technical high school taking all AP classes, with a college scholarship offer on the table, and the youngest is in junior high, on Academic Team and plans to be the next Steve Irwin.  We have 4 fur babies, a 16 year old chihauaha, a 5 year old terrier mix, a 4 year old dachsie and a 2 year old basenji. We don't like dogs at all!! HAHA!! I work in the hospitality business..I used to be a chef but arthritis has taken me away from it in recent weeks.  I love to read, and I love to do Rennasaince Events with the SCA. I also lurk on the sex before and after forum!! I have made many good friends there and many enemies!!Hopefully we can all get to know each other here without fear!!
