wanted pre-op penpal needed

I live in Kansas City and I am 39 yrs old (soon to be 40 on Aug. 4th) looking for a pre-op person to be a pen pal that is on this same journey......

AWESOME!!  Yay for us!! :-)  Have you started your preop liquid diet yet?? I start on Thursday...blech!!

I started the liquid diet on Monday.  So far so good.  My surgeon requires 2 weeks, and it has not been as hard as I expected it to be..  Plus I have lost 5 pounds since I started it!  YAY! Happy 4th of July!!

I am torn between thinking it's going to be a breeze and thinking it's gonna be terrible!!  But, I guess I'll just have to wait and see.....my surgeon usually requires two weeks but it just didn't happen that way on the schedule for me b/c I'm starting nursing school mid-August and we had to crunch things together.... Happy 4th of July to you too!!!
