WANTED: Penpal -- Friend.

Hi everyone ! I am Rona, 33 from Michigan with 3 children. I am in the process of WLS. I was looking into the LapBand but am now thinking Lap RNY will be the way to go. I am 5'3, 230lbs. I meet with the surgeon and nutritionist this thursday (12/14/06) and hope to go from there ! Would love to find someone to write/email/call... anything to go through this journey with ! Hi Rona, My name is Jo Ann and I'm 36 years old, married and we have 5 furry children!! LOL!! (4 cats and a dog) Anyways, I just wanted to say Congratulations on taking the steps to a new healthier you!! I have had both surgeries, I had the lap band in July of 05 and then had it removed and revised over to the RNY on 5/31/06. This is definitley an emotional roller coaster ride to go through and I just wanted to let you know that I'd be more than happy to be a penpal/ friend!!
