Need a penpal, Please

Hi, I am 39(yesterday) have a wonderful husband and 4 beautiful children. I feel so dang stressed since having my surgery and have noone to talk to about every day stressors. Some people just post all their personal stuff on these boards for all the world to see and hope to get advise that way, but I can't do that. I would love to be able to unload on someone and I have a wonderful set of ears to listen, also!! Thanks to anyone and everyone who want to listen and talk!! ~~Margo

HI Margo, Happy birthday! 1 day belated...I am right behind you, will be 39 in November. I too have 4 beautiful children, boys, they are 10,7,4 and 3. My surgery in scheduled for 9/26,lap RNY, finally, after 20 months of trying to get this done. I just got approved 2 days ago, and told my mother/sisters, not a big hit with them. " Why would you do this, with all your have? " "what if something happens to you, what about your children", " go back to WW, ( have been a life time member my whole life, by the way), the point system is great..on and on. I dont think I will tell anyone else about my decision to have this done. My husband is fairly supportive, because he knows how much I want this. Alright I will stop there, but I could go on forever. Just wanted to say hi, and perhaps we could chat sometime. I would be interested to know how you are doing now? I imagine it is a huge transition, I will miss food hugely, but I am ready. Looking forward to hearing from you, Michelle

Hi, Kari! I have e-mailed a bit with the other girl that responded to my post, but I sure would welcome another. I would, however, prefer to e-mail, I don't like all my personal stuff all over here--LOL. Take care, Margo
