Hi Jen! My name is Suzanne and I am having lap band surgery on July 17th. I can't wait! I live in Glenside, Pennsylvania, married for 33 years, 56 years old, mom of five great kids ages 29, 27, 24, 21 and 17 (three sons, two daughters). I work at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, PA and manage the office of the Chief of Staff. I fortunately breezed through all the pre-op stuff and four weeks from today will have my surgery. I've been heavy my entire life and have developed several health issues which I hope will be eliminated once I lose the weight. I'd love to correspond with you if you are interested. Hi Jen, I too live in PA...but am older than you.  If you wouldn't mind writing to an "ole" rocker lady of 57....heck I'll be glad to write to you.  My husband & I love old rock & I also love country.  Married to my second husband as well for almost 22 years now!  I live in Central Pa & though I'm retired I'm a very interesting person to get to know....have a few pals around the world but none that have gone through this surgery & that's what I'm really looking for.  I am now 9 months post-op & have lost 114# and am only about 10# away from my goal weight.  Here is my email address if interested: [email protected]!  Would sure love to hear form ya!  Phyllis Snook
