Looking for a Lap-band penpal

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery 
. It will be here before you know it!! I'm definitely still looking for penpal friends. I feel the more people you have to share this life changing experience with the better. This has been the best decision I have ever made for myself and don't regret it one bit. I'm still healing being just 3 weeks out tomorrow but I have to say I feel pretty wonderful. Still alittle sore (very minimal) on my left side, but it doesn't keep me from doing anything. I've already lost 36 pounds and I feel great. I'm into my mushie stage right now and have had no problems with anything at all. It was very nice hearing from you and keep in touch.

Tiana Glad to hear that your feeling better. I just got back from seeing my surgeon. I have to go through 6 months nutrition/medical supervision because my insurance denied me 
. Very annoying because my pcp referred me to the surgeon and wrote me a letter to submit to insurance and it was not enough. He should have known what to write and how to word it since he has written them before. Anyway I am on month 3, and will have the surgery in October 
. I just have to wait for my 6 months to be up in Sept, then they will submit the paperwork.
Can you feel the piece that they use to fill the band? I wondered about that, how close to the surface it is placed. How did you find the liquid stage? It is good to hear that you have had no problems. I think it puts me in a positive frame of mind, when you hear alot of negative stuff you can sometimes project it onto yourself.

For a totally off topic question, on your profile page how are you did you put the graphics on your page? I was looking for a way on the account page but couldn't find one.
