Topic: RE: Anybody take Nurontin for pain?
I took it for quite awhile and it worked pretty well. I only switched because I was also dealing with horrible back pain too and it wasn't helping that. I switched to morphine 2x a day for the back pain and that also takes care of the fibro pain. Neurontin is a good drug drug because it doesn't have hardly any side effects and can be taken with other drugs without much problem from interactions. I hope it works well for you and you can also take some pretty big doses of it without problems.
Topic: Anybody take Nurontin for pain?
Went to the doc yesterday and she increased my celexa and added nurontin at bedtime to try and help with pain. Anybody else tried this? Does it work?
She also referred me to a neurologist to see if they can figure out how to help me. We'll see.

Pain has been my biggest issue! I also have sleep issues. My dry eyes, skin, and mouth I can handle....but not the pain and fatigue!
:( Hope to get some relief soon. I feel like my DR. I am going to will help me...if we can find the right combo.
FYI, b/c of the risk of lymphoma you should go and get checked if you think you have this! It usually is not an issue till the 50's and 60's.

Topic: RE: Hysterectomy & Fibromyalgia
Had a hysterectomy too, but I had severe pain before that too. I didn't notice it getting worse from that surgery. It has gotten worse over time though, but I can't attribute it to any one thing.
Topic: RE: sjogrens syndrome.....
I haven't been firmly diagnosed but I'm pretty sure I have it too. Very dry eyes, mouth, nasal passages and my skin is very dry overall too. If you go to WebMD and search the disease you will see what they recommend for it. There isn't a cure all for it. Some suggestions for treating the symptoms include eye drops, sf gum, moisturizers, etc. Since I can't take anti-inflammatory drugs that one gets checked off my list. You might be able to do those, not sure with the bypass.

Quite possible the stress is causing the flare up. Do make a point of getting ahold of the doc. There is no sense in suffering when you can get meds for relief. Make that the first thing you do. Here's hoping it settles down soon.
