Anyone out there have had an RNY, and a hysterectomy and had problem with HRT...

I had my RNY nearly 9 years ago, with two revisions since (let's not even go there); subsequently I had a complete hysterectomy about 14 months ago and a month later went on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Was wondering if anyone has had any malabsorptive issues with Premarin post gastric bypass? And if yes, how did you know? Did you get blood work done and what bloodwork?????

I'm not sure if it has an issue 9 years out with malabsortion However, if it does they do have a hormone patch you could get and wear that is absorbed thru your skin.

I have to agree with rinnnatajacc14.  I hope you find the help you were seeking. 

I had a Hysterectomy and take HRT. I had RNY after the Hysterectomy. Mine are a bioidentical cream where they compound the script for me... I have had to have quite a few increases since surgery. I get bloodwork once or twice a year to check my levels.
