Loretta,
I was 59 years old and 470 lbs serious arthritis and fibro I was not only scared I really thought I was not  going to make it thru the surgery. My surgeon saidin my case it was more dangerous to NOT have the surgery! It is normal to be scared. I had , alresady had both my knees replaced ( which is serious pain) but the gastric bypass was nothing for me. It hardly hurt at all.
Do you have a surgery date????

Hey hun,  I had a full blown , wake m eup in the middle o fthe night panic attack 2 weeks post op.  And much as you did finally rea;ized that the risk o fthe surgery is minimal when compared to the risk of remaining obese.

With that being said,  I also had peace about my decision,  i hope this change of Doctors gives you that.  I to started out with one Doctors group and actually ended up having surgery with another.  It was the best thing that could have happened to me!!!!!!!
