Help just had gastric bypass may 16th

i feel horrible i am not sure if my fibromyalgia is worse due to surgery feel dizzy nausus and get headaches from pain med liquid vicodon have sharp pains in tummy feel super horrible anyone out there that had the surgery and also has fibromyalgia??? i feel like i am going to die and its going to take forever for me to heal

Well I had open gastric bypass Sept 26,06. I have had fibro for years. All surgeries will make a fibro worse for a while. I have had 2 knee replacements and a shoulder replacements. If you feel pains etc you need to call doctor. BUT you have to get fluids in or you will dehydrate fast. Which could also be your symptoms!
It does get better but you have to stay on things and call your doc if your really uncomfortable.

It can cause a flare up in the Fibro. I know I was in a world of pain after surgery. It gets better! Just walk as much as you can, make sure you're getting your fluids in and rest! Take care of yourself and you'll heal and hopefully the pain will calm down. The pain med will cause nausea. If it gets to bad call your Dr.
