It is courious to me there are so many views on post and not many replies. So there must be many with at least an interest or wondering about Fibro fo some reason. Those of us that do post are pretty awesome and very educated in one way or another about this Fibro. Love to have you view, but would love to have more intereacting, especially if we can help each other....

Hello i am also new to this forum and good to see that im not alone out there. I have had fm for a long time but no drs could pin point this my newest dr finally find that my pain was fm. i hurt all the time have the worst time sleeping and feel too exhausted to go anywhere with my family. i have gained over 13lbs in less than 3 weeks and hate the pain that being caused from the excess weight put on. the days i do feel up to going out i get so tired so quick that i just wanna leave wherever i'm at and go home and lie down. i see my dr on monday to see what alternatives there are before i continue to gain more and more weight from little activity.
I a first time poster on this message board. I was diagnosed with fibro. a few years ago. I knew something was wrong for a long time. I have migraines too. They both suck. I had wls July 26th 2010. I started losing weight Dec. 2009. As of today, I am down 100 pounds. Yah!! Speaking of headaches, I have one now. Happy New Year to everyone!
I will admit that I am a viewee and not a contributor. I had my DS almost 2 years ago and was just very recently diagnosed with CFS and FM, although I have been fighting for a diagnosis for over a year. I have had symptoms for most of my adult life, but contributed them to being obese, so therefore I did not seek medical attention for what I thought was going to be a "you need to lose weight" lecture.
I will be honest and say that I can almost "deal" with the chronic pain, it's the debilitating fatigue that is slowly killing me. I have tried several drugs to help give me the energy I need to get through my days, but I am super sensitive to them and they make me jittery and anxious.
I have not responded to any posts, as I don't feel I have much to offer since I am still learning about my diseases. Thank you to those who do!
