ugh, paying for it today..
after having very busy last 2 days, woke up today hurting everywhere...friday and saturday the weather here in northeast Louisiana was beautiful and i felt very little pain...so i was out running errands, cooking, going out to visit friends, hanging with my soon-to-be 15 year old son, and going to football game; but today i am paying for it...arthritis pain and FM pain has kicked in hard, pressure point areas are flared up and hurting, aching all over, knees/shoulders/hips/back hurting like crazy....have to stay home and relax today.......

Sorry you're having a rough day. That's one of the things I really hate about fibro that when we do have a few good days we try to get as much done as we can then end up paying for it for another few days. Just know you aren't alone in that, I'm sure we all do the same thing! Gentle hugs coming your way.
I know what you mean. The weather here in Denver has been GREAT, especially for this time of year and I've been working on the house...hoping to get everything done before my surgery on 12/14. Just when I think I'm getting ahead of the game....I get slammed by a flare up and it takes me 5 minutes to walk upstairs.
Hoping you are feeling better. I know what you mean here in Southeast Texas the weather have been fantastic. And I have been trying to get a house built and I have truly over done it. There is not part on my body that does not hurt. And with trying to build and packing also (after being in one place for 35 years ) it"s getting to be a lot to deal with. Now I'm about to have to take a week are so off to get back on track. And now the weather is getting cooler and you know
our body does not like the cool/cold weather.

I went on vacation 11/8 for a week at the beach. The first couple of days it was windy and rainy so we did the outlets. We called it a day after about 3 hours. I would take a Vicodin b4 and after the shopping. My DH is just learning to deal with this disease and went and walked on the beach by himself.
The 4th day was beautiful. Warm, sunny. We went out to walk along the beach for 3 hours. I wasn't too hot, I didn't hurt, it was Wonderful with a capital W.
Then I woke up on 5th day and couldn't move. Anything. It was very frightening and it was the day for us to leave and drive home.
DH did all the packing, got everything packed up. He brought my cane - which I always keep in the trunk of the car.
We got home and I was in hell for 3 more days. Then up to go to the doctor. Now I have some funky hoarse throat, lots of mucous, can't get rid of it. I have COPD to boot and just took the one day I felt pretty good and messed myself up real bad.
She is calling in today a second script hoping that the cough and mucous will stop so my muscles, joints, ribs don't hurt so much.
Don't have the luxury to stay home and rest, with the holiday schedules it's my week to fill in.
Gotta love the good days! lol
