There is a low pressure system moving through this area and OMG, the past couple of days have been torture!! I'm so utterly frustated with my Fibro. I had to call in sick to work yesterday (thank goodness for FMLA). I try real hard not to use my sick time. I try reallllly hard to not let this illness get the best of me but unfortunately it is this week. I had an extra hard time doing my hair this morning/getting dressed was a chore/driving hurt my hands/getting out of the car made me feel like I was 80/people touching me on my back/shouler area sent me to the moon today. I've been in such agony with this set of flare ups I just don't know what to do or try??!! The change in weather just really sets things off and for sure we are about 10 degrees cooler today. I am at the max doseage for my medication. I take hot hot baths. I relax as much as I can when I am home. When I go to bed, I have to heat up two bed buddies all night long to try and make myself comfortable but it just really sucks when you can't sleep. If anyone has any suggestions that has helped them, I'd love to hear about it!!
Thanks!!!!

I hear ya!!! My only suggestion would be see if you can go to a different med, sometimes we have to change things up to get relief again. Otherwise it sounds like you're doing all the right things. I love my electric blanket at night it warms me all over. Oh you might try something like Icy Hot, it helps me when things are worse than usual. Good luck and hang in there at least we know the weather will change eventually!!!!

Right there with ya!! Since we're human barometers now, we react to any change in pressures.
I think we need biosphere houses where we can adjust things, a car that does that, oh and a special shopping area for us. lol
Hang in there, hopefully won't be a long flare.
I have my fur heating pads on each side of me, and that helps some. Had to put tens unit on to be able to move around.
We do acclumate to our meds at times and need to review & twik things.
It's such a pain to live this way, but we'll get thru it, even if we get cranky with others when they don't understand.
There's a site I've found that gives great info. on fibro. & other related problems. It's called
PatientsLikeMe.com
