I take 2 multiple vitamins a day and B Complex and had RNY 8 mo.s ago. I'm feeling better everyday with more and more energy. I take Melatonin and Tylenol Pm to help me sleep so have been sleeping better and I think that is the key. getting enough rest after getting the pain under control. I also was having severe pain in my left chest and found out my Vit D was low and starteds taking dry Vit D 6000 units a day and now take much less pain medicine.

If you have chronic fatigue which very often comes with the fibro you'll most likely be low on energy no matter what you do. Of course getting your vits and as much rest as possible is great for us but it still may not help. I take a truck load of vits and sleep 8-10 hrs a night but am just as exhausted when I wake up as when I went to bed. I truely hope this isn't the case with you but just be prepared.

I was just at the doc yesterday for fatigue and to get rid of Lyrica.

She prescibed Trazadone instead of Lyrica and just at night.   I slept well last night, I am weaning off Lyrica for the next two weeks.

She left my Cymbalta and upped my Vicodin.

I'm sitting here at work without an ounce of energy to actually do my job.

One is always tired with fibro.  Like life just used you up already.

My rheum prescribed Deplin (massive dose of folate) and Nuvigil.  I can say that I get some help from these, I work 12 hour shifts and help me get out the door in the morning.  I try to swim 3 days a week, which helps - you move too much = more pain and fatigue, or don't move enough = more pain and fatigue.  I have tried a gamut of different meds, but nothing has worked for any length of time, without increasing side effects.   I hate how the pain and fatigue rule my life and how much or little, I am able to do on any given day.

All I can say is you're not alone.....
