Does fibro affect the tummy?
Could this also be fibro?
Do you see the glass as half empty or half full? I say, what difference does it make--I paid for a full glass,so either way I am getting jipped!!!
Reading your post sounded just like the questions I have. I have suffered with stomach pains when I eat almost anything since I had my RNY surgery in Dec. 2008. My doc has done every test known to him including MANY endoscopies. I have been hospitalized for dehydration due to these pains, but I can't take the pain right now when I try to drink. The past few days have been even worse than usual, I have been in a great deal of pain whether I have eaten, not eaten, drank anything or not!!!!! Could I be suffering a Fibro flair and the pain is from that too??
I wonder, now that I have read your problems, if there is a connection between Fibro. and RNY surgery. My doc says Fibro could make my days tougher to deal with but that he doesn't see how the two could effect each other in the horrible way I suffer. I wonder...
I hate fibro, but I hate lupus even more. What's the saying: Fibro will not kill you, it only makes you wish you were dead.
I've had fibro since 1998.

I have been taking cymbalta and lyrica for about 6 months now.
My fingers are stiffer, I get shooting electrical pains through my hands almost constantly. I occassionally have a razor like pain through my buttocks, like someone is trying to laser saw me in half. I get the same pains in my upper arms. It feels like I've been trying to lift 100 pounds.
I havent had any nausea or stomach pains/cramps. I have been having unbearable carb cravings, even if I go lite carbs for a couple of days, I still crave them until my head literally hurts.
It is making my love of a pot of coffee a day - sadly - go away. Now it's all I can do to drink a couple of mugs a day. I hate that!!
