Northwest Ohio Fibro doc? Botox shots?

Anyone know of a good doctor for fibro pain management in my general area? I was diagnosed a while ago and am really struggling now with the pain. Also has anyone tried botox shots for neck pain? My neck and across the tops of my shoulders are agony every day. Who would I go to for this treatment? Thanks!

Sorry I don't know anyone in your area, but I wanted to say that I hope you find a good doctor soon and that you get the pain under control.  Although I've never done the Botox, I've read that it can be a good way to help the pain (although it's expensive and very hard to get insurance to cover). 

I'm reading Fibromyalgia For Dummies and there are several telephone numbers and websites in there regarding looking for a good doctor.  If you have that or can get a copy at the library you might look it up.

Do you have a rheumatologist?  If not Dr. T Syed is great.  She has a wonderful bedside manner.
Located in Perrysburg, Ohio.  Also sees patients one day a week in Defiance, Ohio.  Never heard of
the botox for fibro so I can't help you there.  I'm on Elavil for the fibro and it works pretty well.....my chief complaint is the fatigue.  Good luck!  : )
