massage anyone?
I have had fibro for years. I have a massage therapist that is well versed in fibro. It is painful while she is doing it. I also drink water (to release the toxins) and then take a warm bath with epsom salts. If I am still hurting the next day she has me come back and she does a gentle massage to work out the soreness. It takes a couple before I start to feel relief. I also take Ultram, Lyrica and Reflen and many other meds. I am not able to work but I make sure I get out of bed every day!
The first time I tried massage was right before I knew I had fibro. I was in pain for thee days because of the pressure/pressure point**** in the massage. You really have to see a medical massage therapist and let them know you ave fibro ahead of time to get any benefit from the massage.
I have to agree with theho****er therapy though. That's what does best for me. If I though I could live in warm/ho****er ll the time, that is where you would find me.
