I don't take Klonopin, but I do take Zonegran which is another anti seizure medication.  I take it to reduce the severity/frequency of migraines, and it's definitely helped with that.  Bonus - weight loss due to appetite suppression.

As far as reducing the pain of FMS, I don't think so.  My physical therapist swears that the only thing that will help is to keep moving with very light exercise.  Too bad I can't seem to break my couch potato ways after 53 years.

I do take Klonopin for pain. There is no difference when I take it and when I don't. However, I have taken so many pain killers over the years it might not be strong enough for me. Anything is worth a try

I take it along with a lot of other things.  It does not really help with the pain...but it does  help with the panic attacks.  Sometimes the pain is so bad and I get so frustrated and depressed I panic.

My understanding from my doctor is that Klonopin aka Clonazepam is for panic/anxiety problems and generally does Nothing for pain. It is not a pain killer, but it helps by reducing stress and anxiety which in turn can lower the bodies pain responses.

I have been on Klonopin for at least 5yrs and I love it.

Good Luck.

I have taken Klonopin before, and I HATE it!

I feel too drugged up with it.

Lyrica and Cymbalta do the trick for me.  Tramadol (Ultracet) is my second-line pain med.

I also have SLE, and Plaquenil is doing a more than adequate job of controlling those flares since my weight loss.
