Feeling over whelmed

About a month ago I found out I need a right shoulder total replacement ASAP. The left shoulder needs surgery to remove spurs that if left could cut my tendons in half. I also have many issues with my neck. This next week I go to a pain doctor to see if he could do injections or ?? for the neck. I hate to have shoulder surgery's and end up with my neck so bad I can't move anyway. left elbow is bone to bone and they do not repolace elbow's they just do not work.  I just feel like giving up yet I know I cannot do that either. I HATE surgeries. I had two knees replaced the one in 2000, went great. The left one in 2004 every thing went wrong !!!
Then I will need them revised some day sooner that later...Then throw in the mix fibro and you all know what that deals with, and watching what I eat .....

Sorry I am just venting...............

I so know how you feel! Since 2004 I've had a hip replacement, 2 broken legs, breast cancer surgery, my lap band and my feet operated on 3 times and looking at a 4th foot surgery. Like you say add all that in with the fibro and you really don't even want to try to move! The only up side is the really GOOD pain meds in the hospital! I feel for ya hon, just take it one gentle step at a time. ((((HUGS))))

Hi Pam:
Please don't apologize for venting.  That's one of the better things about being able to come here.  We know we can vent, be heard, not judged, and feel better.
My thoughts and prayers are with you sweetie.  Sounds as though you've been through a whole lot - most of us here have.  And I, too, sometimes wonder about giving up yet know I cannot do that either.
Hope things start to turn around for you soon.
Take care

Soooo sorry to hear all that you are going thru, venting is always helpful so vent away.  I'm new to these boards but it seems very important to have friends in OH that are going thru the same problems.  Do not give up because you do have an angel on your side & God will give you the strength to carry on.

I too suffer with Fibro and some days are so very painful that you do not see the light at the end of the tunnel.  I would like to know what WLS have you had if you do not mind me asking...... I'm looking into the DS surgery, but I'm having second thoughts.

I will keep you in my prayer!

Hi Granmmy!
I had RNY Sept 26, 2006.I started at 470 and went clear down to 303, then up to 339 and that is what I have stayed at since. I want to try and get below 300 but I just cannot do exercise, much.
