Anyone try NSAID patch?
I was given the flector patch recently for hip pain. (I'm scheduled for hip replacement in a few weeks.) I can't say I noticed more than slight, if any, pain relief very localized to where I placed it. Also, hard to keep on my hip - due to all this lose skin, not to mention, expensive for me after insurance. Maybe you'll have better luck.
Yep, the Cymbalta is time release med - I take twice a day.

Flector patches are one of the only things that help besides hard narcotics. I though I would die when I had to give up my naproxen. I keep them all the time although I dont use them as much as I should. If the fibro is in one of my hips, just slap a patch on and it does help and Ive never said that about anything before. sometimes its hard to keep them on but you can keep some tape(even masking tape) and that helps.
Try it. what do you have to lose? Suzette
