Has WLS helped your Fibro pain?
I have fibro due to restless leg syndrome--at least according to my rheumy. I know that with her treatment and the weight loss, easy exercise (stretches, water classes, walking) that is has gotten better. The worst thing for mine is stress and my job and money problems.
I also went to a chiropractor for the first time a few weeks ago. The procedures it helps hurt some, but after that pain went away, I felt better...esp. in my hips. I am still very tight around my shoulders and she couldn't get close to the spine there, but it did help some. I will go again next week probably to be readjusted.
Overall, yes it has helped some, but no, it hasn't taken it away.
I had a VSG, so the malabsorbtion (sp?) issues are not part of the side effects for me.
Hope this helps!
